Why do you want to serve on the Woodlake Community Association Board of Directors?

I want to serve on the Woodlake Board to get more involved in my community. I would like to do more volunteer work and what better way to start than being involved directly with the community I live in. I bring experience in financial management, strategic decision‑making, and working through complex trade‑offs. As a board member, I would focus on responsible budgeting, protecting property values, and ensuring that Association resources are used efficiently and transparently. Since I am new to the community I think serving on the board would be a great way to meet more people in the community as well!

Why do you want to serve on the Woodlake Community Association Board of Directors?

In the 29 years of living in Woodlake I have wanted to offer my time to the board and helping make Woodlake a place of peace and enjoyment for all. It is only now, after retiring from teaching business, marketing and work-based skills to Chesterfield youth that I find myself with the time to commit to a goal of increasing community involvement while being fiscally responsible to all the monies put into continuing to make sure Woodlake is the area’s premier living opportunity.

Why do you want to serve on the Woodlake Community Association Board of Directors?

Woodlake isn’t just where we live; it’s where we’ve invested our hearts and our future. I’m running for the Board because we believe a great community doesn’t happen by accident, it’s built through active listening, fiscal transparency, and a relentless focus on our shared values. Fromour scenic trails to the health of the reservoir, I’m committed to preserving the amenities that make us unique while ensuring our HOA remains a supportive partner to every neighbor. I offer a balanced perspective that values our history while proactively preparing for the future. I’m not just looking for a seat at the table; I’m looking to pull up a chair for all of us who call Woodlake home, to ensure we remain the premier place to call home.
