Woodlake Pools

At Woodlake, we are dedicated to maintaining healthy lifestyles and fostering a sense of community through programs and services for all age groups. Woodlake facilities provide our members with year-round fitness and wellness options.

Woodlake Resident “Open Access Periods” to the Woodlake AFC Indoor Pool
As part of your assessment Woodlake has a full complement of “Open Access” periods for all Woodlake fitness/sports facilities. Woodlake residents have access to the AFC and SRC facilities during specified days and hours of the week noted below, without having to have a separate, paid membership.

Lap Swimming – Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm* (waiver required)
Diving Boards – Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm* (lifeguards on stand)
Open Recreation Swimming – Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm* (lifeguards on stand)

SRC Dome Pool (when in season)
Lap Swimming – Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm* (waiver required)
Open Recreation Swimming – Saturdays & Sundays from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm* (lifeguards on stand)

Please Note: The Woodlake Aquatics and Fitness Center (AFC) is a fee-based, membership accessible facility in Woodlake that any resident may join. Memberships for Woodlake Residents are available for a single-fee whole family membership to the (AFC) Fitness Center, Indoor Pool. Memberships allow access to all hours of operation.

This question is often asked at the beginning and end of the Outdoor Pool Season:
“Why can’t we operate under our normal pool hours at all times?” – “Why do the pools not open until 4:30?”

The answer is there are no lifeguards available during the day when school is in session. Our lifeguards, and lifeguards most everywhere, are high school and college students. In mid to late May they are still in school and by mid-August they all go back to school. To keep Woodlake pool patrons safe, we must reduce the pool operating hours to match the very limited number of lifeguards available. Nearly all community pools shift their operating hours to a late afternoon opening during these times.

Caregiver Passes are Available

If you have someone watching your child or elderly family members during the day and would like them to be able to bring them to the Woodlake outdoor pools, we offer a Caregiver Pass for a one-time fee of $80 (good Memorial Day through Labor Day). The caregiver must bring your child or family member to the pool and remain with them the entire time.
