Woodlake Snow Plan

WCA Maintenance Objective:
To create a reasonability safe environment for all Woodlake residents and WCA personnel once winter precipitation ends with in WCA’s areas of responsibility while working with VDOT to create a reasonably safe environment for all of Woodlake.

WCA’s Areas of Responsibility
• Woodlake Village Parkway
• Lake Bluff Parkway
• Timber Bluff Parkway
• Village Square Parkway (from AFC to Manor Gate)
• WCA offices parking lot and sidewalks
• AFC parking lots and sidewalks
• SRC parking lot and sidewalks

VDOT Areas of Responsibility
• VDOT will start on neighborhood streets only after major roadways are complete
(RT 360, RT288 and similar roadways)
• Follow up/complete cleaning Woodlake Village, Lake Bluff and Timber Bluff Parkways
• ALL neighborhood streets (WCA only plows to the entrances)

If Snow Amounts Exceed 2 inches
• WCA maintenance personnel will begin treating and plowing the above WCA areas of responsibility
• Cleaning and treating WCA facilities sidewalks
• Continue monitoring and plowing until snow ends and a reasonably safe environment has been
created for Woodlake residents and personnel

Residents are encouraged for their safety to stay off roads until they have been treated and plowed.

If you must travel, be mindful of the slow-moving equipment on the roads and maintain an adequate and safe
distance allowing them to complete their job. Please do not park on roadways and streets when snow is
predicted as this reduces the effectiveness of our plowing efforts. This is in the interest of safety for you
and our personnel.
