Woodlake residents and friends are gathering together to honor our veterans with a beautiful Honor Garden. This fundraising campaign will enable the construction of a beautiful space to remember and thank those who have served and are serving right here in Woodlake.
The “new” Military Honor Garden will be an expansion of the current marker adjacent to the boathouse, with more seating, plantings and representations of all military branches.
In addition to the beautiful landscape to add color and texture to the garden, each branch of the service will be represented with their own medallion. Flags for each branch will also be a part of the Memorial Park for special celebrations and a signature plaque will be the centerpiece of the garden to remind us always of those who have served and sacrificed for the freedom we cherish.
