Cinco de Mayo has become a vibrant cultural event filled with parades, music, food, and festivities to celebrate Mexican heritage, resilience, and cultural pride. May 5 is the date the Mexican army defeated the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 to gain their independence.
This event is open to Woodlake residents and their invited guests only.
