No rain date so if it rains, Santa will move into the SRC Indoor Pool.

Three holiday musical performers will be playing in three different areas of the SRC complex. Santa will be there to take pictures with anyone and take requests for presents they would like for 2024! Mrs. Claus and 2 of Santa’s Elves will be there helping bring cheer to the event. Goodies will be served at each of the 4 locations because it is the HOLIDAYS!
Holiday Music:
A. Nadyia Horning – Piano and Vocals in the Lobby of the SRC Swim Center.
She grew up in a musical family and has been performing on stage, in churches, and in community events since she was 12 years old. She started playing the piano when she was 8 and has been trained in classical music and can also play music by ear. She has had several years of private and college instruction and has performed vocally and instrumentally at weddings, funerals, with church choirs and bands, theatre, local sporting events, and national scouting conventions. Her style is quite versatile but includes gospel, classical, country, Disney, and contemporary. She has been playing the piano for weddings for nearly 10 years and singing solos, duets, ensembles for almost 24 years. Most recently, she sang the National Anthem for the Chesterfield County Fair and is scheduled annually for the Richmond Flying Squirrels. For one night only, she will be playing and singing Holiday Music here!
B. Clear Harmonies Carolers – Carolers in Holiday Costume in the SRC Community Center.
Clear Harmonies is available for holiday events in November and December each year. Available as a trio, quartet, quintet or octet, the group performs a mix of traditional carols, modern holiday favorites, and a handful of surprising arrangements of well-known songs.
The CH Carolers have performed for the National Tree Lighting, the Vice President’s Residence, BlackRock Center for the Arts, private parties, corporate events, and community holiday events and more! Since 2019, they have been the featured nightly entertainment for Enchant DC and regular performers for the DC area airports and Gaylord Resorts.
Throughout the rest of the year, these performers perform with many other professional ensembles touring both locally and internationally. Simply put, with the CH Carolers, you are hiring the best singers and ensuring a successful, fun event!
C. Belles and Beaus Handbell Quartet – Handbells in the SRC Dome Pool Area.
The Stafford Handbell Society is the region’s largest professional handbell organization. They will be playing holiday music for the entire 4 hours. Handbells provide the perfect musical flourish to our event as no amplification is needed. The bells – and the musicians who play them — always draw a crowd of fascinated onlookers.
D. SANTA – Will be on the deck of the SRC. (If it rains, he will be in the SRC Dome Pool.)
Santa will be ready for pictures this year with you! Again, we have back by popular demand our modern and cool Santa who listens and knows everything. He will be handing out treats to all who sit on his lap! (Bring your camera to take pics.)
Registration: Must register by Dec. 2, 2024 at 5pm online. Please register yourself and any family members or invited guests that are coming with you on one form. Name/address/email/phone number/ Number of people coming from your group in total. Bring registration receipt with you to the event. Before the event you will be emailed the time and location to be for the event. Please make sure you are there on time or you may not be able to go in the group that was chosen for you. You must register for this event! Free Event! There will be two groups, one starting at 4pm and the other starting at 6pm. Within the two groups, there will be 4 areas you can start at, so make sure you go to your assigned time and location that you will be emailed before the event. 50 people maximum will be in a group at each location. Each group will stay and enjoy the musical performance in each area for 20 minutes, grab a goodie, move to the next location, and have fun at the Sounds of the Season! This will be a night to remember, as the talent level for these performers is off the charts and of course, so is SANTA! Note that if you register, you need to be able to come at either time. 4pm to 6pm or 6pm to 8pm. When assigning people to times, we will do our best to give you the preferred time but it is not promised.
