Receiving Text Messages from the Woodlake Community Association

Text Messages – Choose your Group(s )
By opting into a “Group,” you can receive specific/targeted text and email notifications pertaining to that facility or function at Woodlake.
An example: “Pool Notifications Group” – By opting into this group, you will be notified of weather events affecting pool operations via a text message (and email if you choose that option too).
“Groups” is located on the left-hand blue navigation bar on your portal.
“Opt-In” to a Group and Receive Text and Email Notifications in 3 Easy Steps:
1. LOG IN to your portal from woodlakeva.org via the LOGIN button at the top right corner.
2. SELECT “Groups” (from the blue navigation bar).
3. CHOOSE the “Groups” you would like to receive notifications from by selecting “Join Now” for each.
NEXT:
To ensure you will receive text messages, visit the “My Profile” section of your portal and verify your cell phone number and carrier are listed and selected.
SELECT: “My Profile” (from the blue navigation bar).
SELECT: “Preferences”
SELECT: “Notification Preferences” – Check box to receive an email notification when items added.
SELECT: “Notification Method” – “SMS” (text messages) or “Both email and SMS.”

To Add Additional Cell Phone Numbers to Receive Notifications from Woodlake
SELECT: “My Profile”
SELECT: “Additional Mobile Numbers” (just to the left of the photo avatar)
SELECT: “Add Additional Mobile Number”
PROVIDE: “Mobile Phone Number”
PROVIDE: “Mobile Provider”
“SELECT SAVE”
