SRC Patio at 5020 Woodlake Village Parkway, Midlothian, VA 23112 (How to get there: Walk through the Community Center front doors, take a right, a quick left, and step out onto the patio)
Put your pumpkin carving skills to the test, or just kick back with some free hot apple cider at this year’s Fall Festival!
Three Day Truckers bring their high-energy, acoustic country and southern rock hits to the patio. Upbeat, fun, and unstoppable—they’ll have the whole crowd singing along.
EATS & DRINKS
- Fletcher’s BBQ Food Truck (5:30 PM – 8:30 PM): Arrive early and grab some delicious, smoky BBQ. Because what’s a Fall Festival without it?
- FREE Hot Apple Cider: Warm up with a fresh cup on us! (Available while supplies last).
THE GREAT PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
Show off your carving skills and compete for bragging rights and prizes!
How It Works:
- The first 50 people to register get a FREE pumpkin at the event!
- Missed the top 50? You can still enter—just BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin)!
- The Rules: Bring one standard pumpkin carving knife. No power tools, fancy gadgets, or special accessories—this is a true test of carving mastery!
- Kids under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
Deadlines & Judging:
- Pre-registration deadline: Wednesday, September 23 at 5:00 PM. (If you register and can no longer make it, please call the office or email Jenny DeLorenzo so someone else can claim a pumpkin!)
- Pick up your pumpkin any time after 6:00 PM and start carving!
- Small Pumpkin Contest Winner Announced: 7:30 PM
- Large Pumpkin Contest Winner Announced: 8:30 PM
MORE FESTIVAL FUN
- Open Dance Floor: Show off your moves right in front of the stage.
- Fall Festival Paint Party: Looking for a cozy indoor activity? A separate Paint Party will be taking place in the Main Room of the Community Center from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM! (Note: Requires separate registration and fee. Check out the Paint Party event page for full details.
WHAT TO BRING
- Chairs & Blankets: Seating goes fast, so pack your favorite camp chairs or cozy lawn blankets.
- Warm Layers: If the night gets chilly, we’ll have the fire pits crackling—come hang out by the fire!
BYOB: Strictly NO GLASS allowed (including wine bottles).
This event is open to Woodlake residents and their invited guests only.
