Entries:
1) Bubba

Bubba is super friendly, and is the ‘Pickleball Dog’, as he hangs out at the courts while I play. He is an excellent companion for me, encouraging me to take daily walks. He enjoys swimming in the lake, trying to terrorize the ducks and geese.
2) Rimshot

Rimshot is on the Woodlake trails every morning and night while looking for a place to play fetch. He’s the neighborhood mascot and would be honored to be the Woof of Woodlake!
3) Teddy

He is the sweetest, cuddliest dog you’ll ever meet! He really doesn’t know he’s a dog. He loves walks, to give kisses, and CHEESE!!
4) Baloo

Baloo should be the Wolf of Woodlake because he has been enjoying the Beauty of his gorgeous Woodlake since he was a puppy. He has slowed down in his elderly years and is so grateful to live in this amazing place.
5) Murphy

Murphy should be our neighborhood dog because he truly lives up to his name bringing a little “Murphy magic” everywhere he goes. Living in Woodlake, he loves everything that makes our neighborhood so special, from walks through the community to spending time by the lake, where neighbors become friends and every day feels a little more connected. With his happy tail wags, friendly personality, and love for everyone he meets, Murphy has a way of making people smile and reminding us why Woodlake is such a wonderful place to call home. Whether he’s greeting neighbors, making new furry friends, or enjoying another beautiful day by the water, Murphy embodies the warmth, kindness, and community spirit that make Woodlake unique. Vote for Murph, the dog who proves every day that a little Murphy goes a long way!
6) Phoebe

She is the sweetest, best dog ever!
7) Hatteras

Hi, I’m Hatteras! I’m a 10-month-old long-haired dachshund, and I’ve been so lucky to grow up in beautiful Woodlake.
Everything is still new to me, which makes every walk an adventure. I love taking my time to sniff the flowers, plants, and all the wonderful smells along the trails. There’s always something new to discover! When I get home, one of my favorite things to do is sit in the backyard and quietly watch the deer as they pass by. They’re one of the many reasons I love living here.
Woodlake is such a special place, filled with beautiful nature and kind neighbors who always make me feel welcome. I may still be a puppy, but I already know this is the perfect place to call home, and I can’t wait to make many more happy memories here.
8) Oakley

Oakley loves calling Woodlake home. His favorite part of every day is exploring the neighborhood trails, watching the ducks, deer, and other wildlife, and greeting the friendly neighbors he meets along the way. It’s rare to finish a walk without someone stopping to smile, say hello, or ask to pet him. Oakley has a special way of bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome. Whether he’s soaking up the sunshine or making new friends, he reminds us to slow down and enjoy the little things that make Woodlake so special. He truly loves this community and the people who make it feel like home. That’s why Oakley would be honored to be the 2026 Woof of Woodlake!
9) Cody

Cody is a brand new rescue pup! He is an amazing family dog and loves his sisters. Cody loves to run, play ball, dig holes at the beach, and nap. Cody hasn’t figured out if his cat brother is playing with him or hunting him yet… but he loves him anyway! Cody spends weekends learning obedience from his trainer and spends all week playing with his loving family and playing guard dog. From living in a shelter, minutes away from being euthanized, to living a spoiled life of luxury on the lake, Cody has had a tough year and came out on top. Cody loves life in Woodlake!
10) Luca

At 6 years old, Luca represents the very best of what a rescue dog can be. Luca traveled all the way from Mississippi in 2021 to find his forever family turning his tough start into a beautiful success story. He is a true fixture of the neighborhood who embraces the local lifestyle, from peaceful trail walks to watching the water. Luca proves that no matter where you start your journey, you can always find your perfect home at Woodlake!
Thank you to all the dogs that entered this year. It was very hard to pick the top 10. Please enter again next year!
