Rediscover Carytown: A Classic Scavenger Hunt & Sweet Treat Adventure!
Get ready for an afternoon of casual exploration, friendly competition, and a unique local treat! We’re heading to Richmond’s vibrant Carytown district for a low-tech, high-fun scavenger hunt designed to let us enjoy the sights at our own pace.
No apps, no digital downloads, and no tour guides to keep up with—just good old-fashioned fun, clear clue sheets, and great company.
How It Works:
Spot the Clues: You’ll pair up or form small teams to wander Carytown’s charming streets, hunting for fun local landmarks and hidden gems.
Snap a Photo: Bring your camera or smartphone—all you need to do is snap a picture of each item on your list as you find it.
Show & Share: We’ll regroup at the finish line to show off our photos, share a few laughs, and declare our scavenger hunt champions.
The Grand Finale: A Taste of Europe!
After the hunt, we’ll gather to celebrate at Crispy Cones (3449 W. Cary St.). If you haven’t experienced a Crispy Cone yet, you are in for a wonderful surprise! Popular across Europe, these delicious treats feature fresh dough grilled rotisserie-style, coated in cinnamon sugar or specialty toppings, and filled with your choice of gourmet soft-serve ice cream, fresh fruit, and decadent drizzles. It’s the ultimate reward after an afternoon on the town.
