James River Cellars Winery is a family-owned and operated estate in Glen Allen, Virginia, established in 2001. Located just north of Richmond, it features vineyards on a 20-acre farm in Montpelier alongside the tasting room grounds, offering a relaxed, pet-friendly atmosphere known for award winning local varietals and community gatherings. This delightful winery is a blend of urban convenience and quaint rural appeal with a beautifully landscaped patio and terrace view.
Enjoy a guided tasting of eight curated wines by the tasting room team. (They offer several holiday themes throughout the year. If we’re lucky, we may get the Halloween tasting.) You can choose from their themed wine flights or create your own from their varied wine list. The fee is $16 for a flight of four wines. Wine glasses are sold separately.
