Anderson Highways are an acoustic duo led by Angel and Robby Nichols that plays a mix of everything from country to rock to pop!
Angel was raised in a musical family that instilled a love for music in her at a very early age. Angel began singing as a child and continued to do so with various choirs and ensembles as she got older, and through the years, her passion and love for music has never diminished. Through Robby, she became connected with current band members Phil and Calvin, and together they formed their own band with herself fronting the group.
Robby is a Powhatan native who started playing the guitar at age 7, and at age 9, the piano. After playing in a handful of rock bands, Robby re-directed his focus on developing his home recording studio project. Eventually, Robby wanted to get back into playing in a band and soon found himself in a group with Calvin and Phil, who later moved on to form Anderson Highway with Angel.
