National Night Out is America’s Night Out Against Crime
Stop by for a hotdog & chips, while supplies last, meet your local police, get some free giveaways from the Chesterfield County Police Department and join Lifestyle Services for a beading session on the Patio! You, adults and kids, can make a piece of jewelry for yourself to take home or give away. Gender does not matter when Beading, you can make anything from beaded necklaces, bracelets, and anklets to keychains! And of course, you can swim too!
Annually, residents in neighborhoods throughout Chesterfield County and across the nation lock their doors, turn on the outside lights, and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police for National Night Out. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police‐community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
